Stuck at updating steam

This article will teach you how to update and edit your addon in the Workshop. Updating the rest, such as title and description is done through Steam Workshop website. To avoid updating problems, the change note should only use US-ASCII characters (latin characters with no accents).

Use this command line to update your icon: Replace "1337" with the workshop ID of your addon. id=[id here] Icon must be 512x512 JPG image (chroma 4:2:0).

All that's happening is just the web application (steam) unpacking or decompressing the downloaded file.

Games may fail to launch due to a number of different reasons.

Don’t forget to compare your PC’s specs with that of the game requirements.

Download and run Reimage Plus to scan for corrupt files from here, if files are found to be corrupt and missing repair them and then check if it still gets stuck, if it is then try the Solutions listed below.

It is advised to disable it and try launching Steam, however, please do so at your own risk.

After completing the above steps, your Windows Defender should be turned off. It is preferable to launch it with administrative privileges.

If you are sure you want to delete your addon, then click it.

Please note, that you cannot undo deletion of your addon.

Besides updating files and icon of your addon, you can also update title and description of your addon. You will have to go to the Steam Workshop, log in into your steam account, and find your addon.
